Horses Available for Adoption

All our horses enjoy the companionship of a small herd or share a spacious paddock with another horse, fostering a supportive and enriching environment. We seek homes where horses will always have a friend and regular turnout, as social interaction and freedom are essential for their happiness and well-being. Studies show that horses thrive physically and emotionally when they have suitable companions, leading to healthier and longer lives. To ensure the best experience for our horses, we place them only in homes with appropriate equine friends. While small ponies, mini horses, and goats are wonderful animals, larger horses benefit most from companions they can fully engage and play with, promoting safe and natural social behaviors.

We are looking for loving, forever homes with a holistic approach to horse care. All our horses are barefoot and are ridden bitless.

Note: At this time, we are not adopting to homes over 50 miles from our facility because we’re not staffed to do the pre-requisite welfare checks farther away. Please read policy and procedures carefully.

RJ

Born: 2016
Status: Ready for adoption

RJ is a Pinto Miniature horse with extraordinary color. He is quite a character. Very curious about everything new in his environment. His previous owner had to give him up for medical reasons.  RJ is bonded with his pasture mate Phantom. They have been together since they were very young. It would be best if they could be adopted together.

Radish

Born: 2003

Status: Ready for adoption

Rider-level: Advanced

Discipline: Trail horse

This is beautiful Radish. She is a chestnut Appendix Quarter horse out of the Peppy San Badger lines. She is 15.2 hands. She hasn’t been ridden in a while and still has a way to go to build her confidence, but she is making great strides.

Radish is a sweet girl who, like her partner Harley, survived a fire. She and Harley were frequently without food, so she gets a little crabby if you try to take her when she is eating. She is slowly getting over this. Radish now loves to be cuddled and loved. She loves a bath and to be groomed. Radish is going to make someone a wonderful partner.
