Sanctuary and Support for Horses at Serenity

Our Commitment to Horses in Sanctuary

Serenity has rescued numerous horses over the years, many of whom have special needs. As a result, a significant number of our horses now reside in sanctuary with us. When any horse arrives at Serenity, we make a firm commitment to provide them with the highest quality care, regardless of whether they are suitable for adoption.

Focus on Wellness

Our primary mission centers on the overall wellness of each horse, rather than maximizing annual adoption numbers. This approach allows us to consider the whole horse, ensuring their emotional, behavioral, and physical well-being for as long as they remain with us.

Funding and Community Support

Many funding sources prioritize the number of horses adopted into new homes when deciding which rescues to support. Because Serenity does not focus solely on adoption, we rely on the generosity of other organizations and individuals who are willing to help sustain our sanctuary horses.

How You Can Help
